Egypt closes restaurants and shops

Egypt’s power to combat the coronavirus pandemic decided to close shopping centers, restaurants and shops, the Prime Minister of Mustafa Madbuli said.

Restrictions will take effect from tomorrow, May 6th. For the same period, mass meetings and concerts will be prohibited in Egypt, and the beaches and parks in the country will close from 12 to 16 May, the “Kommersant” reports with reference to Reuters.

Since the beginning of a pandemic in Egypt, more than 231 thousand people fell ill with COVID-19, over 13.5 thousand contaminated.
