Egyptian President Abdelfatta al-Sisi discussed with the Supreme Commissioner of the UN Refugees Filippo Grandi the problems of illegal migration, mainly flows of migrants and refugees from Sudan.
According to the Administration of the President of Egypt, Grandi, as part of a visit to Cairo, was adopted by the head of state Abdelfattahu As-Sisi.
AS-Sisi emphasized the importance of a comprehensive approach to solving problems associated with illegal migration, including in the context of conflict prevention, ensuring security and stability and comprehensive sustainable development.
Egyptian President said that he appreciates many years of cooperation between Egypt and UN UN UN efforts to overcome the escalation of the global migration crisis.
