Erdogan administration accused Reuters of spreading lies

The head of the Turkish Administration, Fakhrettin Altun, said Reuters agency is an apparatus of a systematic “lies and manipulations” against Turkey and, in particular, the country’s president, Tayyip Erdogan, Anadolu reports.

He said this in an interview with Anadola, commenting on Reuters about the work of R.T. Erdogan and management.

According to Altun, the agency has repeatedly published false news about Turkey and distorted the statements of the Turkish president. He noted that Turkey “knows the intentions” Reuters and “the goals with which it serves”, and the material of Reuters only confirms that the department is on the right track.

According to the representative of the administration of the Turkish president, over the past four years, the department has repeatedly become a target of disinformation campaigns.
