Estonia closed access to their ports to Russian courts

Estonian authorities decided to prohibit Russian courts to enter their ports. The ban began to act on Sunday, April 17, reports ERR.

The Ministry of Economy and Communication of Estonia reported that for ships who changed their flag from the Russian to another flag after February 24, the EU ports are now closed.

According to the Minister of Economics and Infrastructure, Taavi Aaas, all Europe rethinks its economic activity and is becoming increasingly independent of Russia.

Already several countries have been forbidden to enter into Russian ships in their ports: Belgium, Romania, Bulgaria, Italy.
