Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevurkh put forward a proposal to block access to the Gulf of Finland for Russian warships, Iltalehti reports.
The head of the Ministry of Defense said that negotiations are underway with Finland to create a collective missile coastal defense system. The main goal of the project is to close access to the Gulf of Finland.
According to Pevuru, the Baltic Sea should be a collective defense region, and it is impossible to do without Finland in this matter.
