EU approved new sanctions against Russia and Belarus

EU postprants at the Coreper II meeting on Wednesday agreed to the exception of three Belarusian banks from the SWIFT system, the presiding currently in the Council of the EU delegation of France. It is also reported that the sanctions will affect the cryptocurrency market, RIA Novosti reports.

Also, the EU postprants at the CorePer II meeting agreed to expand the sanctions because of Ukraine against the “Russian oligarchs and their families.”

“The postprants approved new sanctions against Russian officials, oligarchs and members of their families involved in Russian aggression against Ukraine,” the delegation of the delegation in Twitter says.
