The European Union next week will increase the fund intended to finance the supply of weapons to Ukraine by at least 2 billion euros, Bloomberg reported.
At the moment, the final size of the fund is 6 billion euros to finance military assistance in 2021-2027. It is funding for the supply of weapons not only to Ukraine, but also to a number of other countries, but for Kyiv there are at least half of the total amount.
A financing document can be signed on December 12. In the future, the amount of the fund may still be increased.
