The European Commission (EC) is discussing with the States of the European Union to issue visas to Russians for humanitarian reasons, the representative of EC Anita Hiper said
“The situation is unprecedented, taking into account the situation in the field of security, we must take into account the geopolitical situation … We are in contact with the EU states, we evaluate the situation to provide support and prepare for the next stage,” she said.
According to Hiper, all requests for humanitarian visas should be considered individually. In addition, as the representative of the commission specified, according to the Schengen Code, it is still assumed to refuse to enter the security reasons.
