The European Union wants to create a fund in the amount of € 100 million to buy weapons and military equipment that the Ukrainian army needs. This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron, writes Reuters.
“I invited the European Union to establish a new fund in the amount of 100 million euros, which would allow Ukraine to buy weapons from European manufacturers,” Macron said.
The Fund allowed Kyiv to directly contact the manufacturing companies and buy weapons from them. In addition, the French leader confirmed that the readiness to give Ukraine more Caesar SAU.
