The process of Ukraine’s entry into the European Union (EU) should not take decades, but the years, the country should “provide an integration candidate” as soon as possible, said Vera Yurova deputy chairman (EC) in an interview with the Spanish newspaper El Pais.
According to her, the final decision on this score will be made by the European Commission on Friday, June 17. The first debates on the topic will begin on EC on Monday, June 13. “It will be a very strong symbolic message and incentive for the Ukrainian people,” she said.
