The introduction of a ban on importing gas, as expected, will not be part of the new sanctions package of the European Union in relation to Russia, said Austria Chancellor Karl Nehammer before the second day of the EU EXPECTIONAL Summit.
“It was obvious yesterday, and I say it today again. There will be no topic of the gas embargo. It made it clear [Chancellor of Germany] Olaf Scholz. Therefore, the gas embargo will not be discussed in the next package of sanctions,” TASS quotes him.
