The head of the diplomacy of the European Union Jozep Borrel stated that the European Union almost reached the limit on the introduction of sanctions against Russia, RBC-Ukraine reports.
According to him, these measures taken influenced the Russian economy.
Borrel reminded that the EU has already introduced a package of sanctions against Russia after the start of hostilities in Ukraine. The last one was announced on Wednesday, March 9.
He added that the EU cannot go to more, since many countries import gas and oil from Russia, in connection with this, the European Union can not declare embargo as USA.
