The European Union plans to renew the negotiations on free trade with India to weaken the dependence of the country from relations with Russia, the Bloomberg Agency writes.
According to the publication, the EU will expand cooperation with India and in other areas, for example, in technology.
“EU plans to return to the trade negotiations with India. Both sides began a discussion of the Free Trade Agreement in 2007, however, in 2013, the negotiations went to a dead end due to disagreements. EU is the third largest trading partner of India,” writes Edition.
