The budget of Ukraine has changed a lot after the start of the war, said Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal. According to him, before the armed conflict on the maintenance of the army, Kyiv annually spent about $ 5.3 billion. Now $ 4.4 billion is spent on these purposes, but already monthly.
“If about 156 billion hryvnias ($ 5.3 billion) were spent on the maintenance of the army (before the war – ed.), It was the budget of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Army per year, today about 130 billion ($ 4.4 billion) is a monthly amount, ”Shmygal said in an interview with LB.ua.
According to him, social payments, mine clearance costs, urgent infrastructure restoration and internal migration have greatly increased.
