Russia is not yet interested in the cease-fire negotiations in Ukraine, since its army did not reach his military goals. This was stated by the head of the diplomacy of the European Union Josep Borrel, reports Reuters.
“Now Russia does not want to sit and negotiate anything: she wants only to occupy the territory. She wants to surround the coast to the border with Moldova and isolate Ukraine from the sea. She wants to seriously negotiate only when he enaches a strong position,” – Borrel said in an interview with the Spanish TV channel Tve.
Borrel stressed that the European Union and the Allies will continue to provide military assistance to the Ukrainian army: “This is important because everything will be decided in the next 15 days.”
