Ex-commander of NATO called on Ukraine to blow up Crimean bridge

Ukraine can deliver a crushing blow to the Kremlin by attacking the bridge across the Kerch Strait connecting the mainland of Russia with the occupied Crimea. The ex-commander of NATO, General Philip Bridlav, made such an appeal, writes The Times.

Bridlav noted that the blow to the bridge can be delivered using the Harpoon missiles recently delivered to Ukraine.

General Bridlav, who was the Supreme Commander -in -Chief of the US allies in Europe from 2013 to 2016, said that the attack on the bridge would be justified by Russia’s aggression against Ukraine from all sides.

“Kerch bridge is a legal goal,” he stressed.
