The trial of the criminal case of the former head of the executive authorities of the Nizami district of Ganja Maharat Mustafayev, the former head of the architecture and town planning of the city of Ali Rustamov and Razin Gahramanov.
The HAQQIN.AZ correspondent reports that at today’s meeting, held in the Ganja Court in grave crimes chaired by Judge Nural Aliyev, lawyers spoke with a defensive speech. In his speeches, lawyers asked for an exclusive verdict towards their support. The accused in his last word also asked the court to justify them.
At the meeting, a sentence was read, according to which the accused Maharat Musaev and Ali Rustamov were sentenced to 4 years in prison. Razin Gahramanov, recognized by the guilty of a criminal case and in respect of which a preventive measure was elected in the form of a conclusion under the supervision of the police, fined for 10 thousand manat.
Note that the head of the department of architecture and urban planning Ganja A.Rustamov and the former head of the Executive Authority of the Nizami district of the city of M. Mustafayev were detained in 2020 in the course of the Corruption Combating Corruption at the Prosecutor General. Criminal cases under Articles 308.2 were initiated against these persons (excess of official powers), 178.3.2 (fraud), 178.2.4, 178.2.2, 178.2.3, 311.3.1 (receipt of bribes), 311.3.1, 311.3. 2, 312.2 (cottage bribes), 314 (allocation of land plots with violation of the rules established by law or permission to carry out construction or installation work).
