Ex-head of General Staff of Russian Federation said that Himars will radically change wars of future

Russia predicts that the re -equipment of armies to Himars systems and their analogues will radically change the forms of warfare.

According to the former First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Yuri Baluevsky, the war of the future will be a “high -precision city of ammunition.”

This, in turn, can “lead to the complete wiping of armored vehicles and artillery in their traditional appearance.”

“The massive use of such means of defeat from both ground and aviation media in the future can change the forms and methods of conducting ground -based hostilities, creating a kind of high -precision city of ammunition, and lead to the complete wiping of armored equipment and artillery in their traditional appearance : tanks, BMPs and guns simply will not survive in the context of the massive use of high -precision ammunition, and the exit of tanks to the distance of the use of their main weapons will become almost impossible, ”said the general quoted by the Russian media.

.

Recall, Baluevsky in 2004-2008 headed the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
