The former head of the executive authority of the Gobustan Rafik Alyashov died after a long sickness at the age of 67, the QAFQAZInfo reports.
We note that the ex-head of the district was detained in 2013 on charges of fraud with the causation of major damage and was convicted for 8 years and 6 months by court decision.
In 2017, he was pardon because of the state of health and was released.
Rafik Alyashov was the head of the executive authority of the Gobustan region in 1994-2001.
