Ex-head of Jalilabad said he was preparing for last word

In the Lenkoransk Court of Crime, the lawsuit continued in the criminal case of the former head of the executive branch of the Dzalilalabad district of Namik Zeynalov, accused of embezzlement and official forgery.

According to Haqqin.az, at a meeting held under the chairmanship of Judge Khammed Nuriev, the lawyers of Namik Zeynalov made a defensive speech, asking for an acquittal of an acquittal against the former head of the executive branch.

The executive branch of the Dzalilabad district as the victim filed a civil lawsuit for 3 million manat, and the Dost Center for 50 thousand manat. The defense said that the demands of the victims are unfounded.

And Namik Zeynalov asked the court to give him time to prepare for his last word. The trial will continue on July 4.

Note that N. Zeinalov was charged under articles 179.2.2 (assignment and embezzlement repeatedly committed), 179.2.3 (assignment and embezzlement committed by a person using his official position), 179.2.4. (Assignment and embezzlement committed with causing significant damage), 308.2 (abuse of authority), 311.3.3 (receiving a large -scale bribe), 311.3.2 (re -receipt of a bribe), 313 (official forgery) of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan. By the order of President Ilham Aliyev N. Zalilov, he was dismissed from the post of head of the executive branch of the Dzalilabad district.
