Lawyer Vugar Khasaev reported then that a cassation appeal was considered against his client. The Supreme Court reduced the term of imprisonment to Aleskerov to 6 years 9 months and 20 days. Since this period has already been departed by Aleskerov, since it was in prison since 2016, it was decided to release it.
