The former prosecutor Miralekpere Seidov, accused of fraud, appeared before the judge in the Baku court on serious crimes.
According to haqqın.az, the former prosecutor is accused of assigning 270 thousand dollars by giving false promises to two people. One of the victims in the case is Hasan Aliyev, the former chairman of the Binagadinsky district court.
According to the indictment, Seidov received 200 thousand dollars from Hasan Aliyev, promising to “arrange” his chairman of the court of one of the districts. He also fraudulently took possession of the money of his friend Tahir Huseynov in the amount of 70 thousand dollars. Later, a fraudster was detained.
The next court hearing is scheduled for November 24.
Note that both Seidov and the victim Hasan Aliyev in 2014-2015 were convicted of fraud. The first received a suspended term, the second court sentenced the 7 years in prison.
