According to the World Health Organization (WHO), by 2025, about half of the Earth’s population will be subject to allergic diseases. To date, one of the most common allergic diseases is the food allergy, which is found in 5 percent of the adult and about 10 percent of the planet’s children’s population.
What products are the most often caused by the development of allergies? What allergens are the most dangerous food in the world? What is the difference between food intolerance of products and food allergies? Professor of the Department of Children’s Diseases of Azerbaijan Medical University, Doctor of Medical Sciences Huseyn Gabulov, answered these and other issues.
– What products are the most often caused by the development of allergies?
– the most commonly found allergies to cow milk, especially manifested in children for up to one year. It may be so laid by nature that in the neonatal period, the baby’s immune system perceives only maternal milk and reacts violently to the cow’s milk. But, usually, allergic to cow’s milk in 80 percent of them passes with time.
Another frequent allergen of our diet is chicken eggs. This is a fairly useful product, well absorbed and is extremely important for the growth and development of the child. Chicken eggs are introduced into the diet in the first year of the child’s life. At the same time, they can show their allergenic ability. Allergens are mainly contained in the squirrel of eggs.
– What other products are considered highly ellergenic?
– Allergies to peanuts – one of the most heavier. In most cases, she accompanies a person all his life. In children with allergies to peanuts, the reaction can develop even when someone eats this product nearby. Peanut microparticles, falling into the air, are able to cause an allergic reaction. In this regard, in many products containing even some peanuts, there is a corresponding reminder on the package.

Wheat allergies in children can be so serious that the whole family will be forced to avoid products containing it. With age in children, wheat allergies can decrease.
Often in children there are allergies to nuts – walnut, hazelnut, almonds, cashews and others. Allergies to nuts are one of the most frequent, which is inherited.
Fish is also related to high-caloric products. If the child has an allergy to some kind of fish, then the hypersensitivity is often noted and its other varieties. Allergic to fish rarely passes with age and can even take away. Some children have a strong fish response to develop already with frying (smell) of fish.
In general, food allergies can cause more than 70 types of products, among which you can point out honey, citrus, strawberries, kiwi, tomatoes, cocoa, etc.
