Post-shaped syndrome after the suffered “Oomikron” will not differ from the state after infection with other variants of Coronavirus, said the Deputy Director for Clinical and Analytical Work of the Central Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor Natalya Wheat in an interview with RT.
“If we are talking about the classical course of COVID-19 [when” Omicron “is infected with our colleagues from South Africa, most likely, and post-shaped syndrome will be the same as after infection with other strains,” said wheat.
The expert noted that young people had sick in South Africa, most often they hurt easily. Therefore, they did not have a pronounced post-person syndrome: “And the consequences for the people of the older age group, which began to hurt after youth, while it is difficult to estimate: too little time passed.”
