The armed forces of both Russia and Ukraine are currently faced with challenges.
This was stated by US National Intelligence Director Everyl Haynes, speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
“Regarding what will happen next, I think we would say that this is not a path situation, but at this stage it is actually a very protracted conflict. We say literally that on the front line there are fights for hundreds of meters” – she said.
According to Haynes, “there are heavy battles.”
“I think, from our point of view, the armed forces of both parties, of course, are faced with challenges. It will be extremely important for Ukraine to receive military assistance and economic assistance in the future,” she said.
