“Goebrev and Emko are a target, because this company is one of the largest weapons and ammunition not only in Bulgaria, but throughout Eastern Europe. It can not only produce such products, but also trade around the world” , – indicates one of the experts of the publication.

According to the owner of Emko, the connection with the supply of weapons to Ukraine to Ukraine lies on the surface, but this version is erroneous. “I can say with 100 percent confidence that what was stored in the Carnobate was in no way intended for Ukraine. Ukraine never needed it. Old ammunitions intended for use as components and parts in the destroyed warehouses were in no way. production process at EMKO factories. ” However, local media wrote that Emko supplied weapons to Ukraine in 2014. Goebrev does not see the specific, explained reason why the old ammunitions were in the warehouses should be destroyed as a result of sabotage.

According to him, several years ago there were also Russia’s attempts to buy EMKO production capacities, but Goebrev refused the deal.
