On the morning of July 31, 2022, an explosion in the warehouse of EMKO, which Emilian Goebrev owns the explosion in Bulgaria. Prior to this, the plant and Goebrev warehouses had already exploded four times in Bulgaria from 2011 to 2020. He suspects that the current incident, like all previous ones, is Russian intelligence services. According to him, they also tried in 2015 to poison him with the Novikich Chemical Supervision. Then the businessman became ill at a reception in Sofia, he fell into whom and was hospitalized, but survived. “I am sure of this, although I can’t name any names,” Goebrev said to the publication.
“Goebrev and Emko are a target, because this company is one of the largest weapons and ammunition not only in Bulgaria, but throughout Eastern Europe. It can not only produce such products, but also trade around the world” , – indicates one of the experts of the publication.
According to the owner of Emko, the connection with the supply of weapons to Ukraine to Ukraine lies on the surface, but this version is erroneous. “I can say with 100 percent confidence that what was stored in the Carnobate was in no way intended for Ukraine. Ukraine never needed it. Old ammunitions intended for use as components and parts in the destroyed warehouses were in no way. production process at EMKO factories. ” However, local media wrote that Emko supplied weapons to Ukraine in 2014.
