Facebook frozen Trump accounts until 2023

Facebook reported on Friday that the action of US Ex-President accounts Donald Trump in this social network and Instagram was suspended for two years since January 7, 2021.

“We suspend its accounts for two years since the date of the initial suspension – from January 7 of this year,” said Facebook vice president of international affairs and public relations, Interfax writes.

According to Clegg, this decision was made after the Supervision Board in Facebook criticized the “indefinite” blocking of Trump accounts after the riots in the Capitol on January 6 of this year. The Council stated that “for Facebook it is inappropriate to introduce an indefinite punishment in the form of suspending accounts for an indefinite period.”

As reported by Facebook, after removing the restrictions of the Trump in the event of a repeated violation of the rules, it will collide with certain sanctions “up to irreversible removal of its pages and accounts.”

Donald Trump’s reaction to Facebook’s solution did not make long wait. Trump said that Facebook’s decision to suspend the work of his accounts for two years is disrespect for more than 70 million Americans and an attempted freedom of speech. “It is impossible that this censorship and silence will come from hand, and in the end, we will win. Our country can no longer tolerate these abuses!” – he added.
