Chapter Facebook Inc. Mark Zuckerberg stated that the company is renamed Meta, reports Reuters.
The name change is due to the fact that the company is struggling with criticism by legislators and regulatory authorities due to frequently abuse platform.
“From today we will be called Meta,” said Zuckerberg during the presentation.
He also introduced the company logo in the form of a blue ribbon of the Mebius.
