Fighter from the Military Layer Group “Turkish Stars” crashed on Wednesday in the area of Konya in Central Turkey, said Sabah newspaper.
According to the publication, the combat vehicle crashes during the training flight. Initially, the newspaper wrote that the F-16 fighter crashed, but then Sabah reported that the accident occurred with the Northrop F-5 fighter.
In place of the crash, rescue work continues on the search for the pilot.
