Five percent of subscribers exceeded annual gas limit

One of the important points of social policy in the gas supply of Azerbaijan is to allocate a low-pass tariff limit on the use of gas by the subscriber group of the population.

So, annually subscribers are provided with a limit of 2,200 cubic meters at the rate of 10 kopecks per cubic meter. In January-April of the current year, the number of subscribers exceeded the limit was 122,500 (5.19%), and the number of gas consuming in the limits of the limit was 2,236,410 (94.81%).

Note that in 2020, 20.9% of subscribers exceeded a preferential limit of 2200 cubic meters sold at 10 cents per cube. The remaining 79.1% of the population was used in the framework of the preferential limit. As of May 1, 2021, the number of subscribers provided by natural gas registered in the Azerigas amounted to 2 million 358 thousand 910.
