Rada voted for the introduction of criminal responsibility for photography and video filming of the movements of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said People’s Deputy Alexey Goncharenko.
He said that the Criminal Code is complemented by Article 114-2: “Unauthorized dissemination of information on the direction, movement of weapons, weapons and combat seals to Ukraine in conditions of military or emergency positions.
1. Dissemination of information on the direction, movement of weapons, weapons and combat seals in Ukraine, including its movement through the territory of Ukraine, if such information has not been placed in open access, the General Staff or the Ministry of Defense or in the official sources of the relevant departments of partner countries committed under the conditions of the military or emergency, – shall be punished with imprisonment for a period of 3 to 5 years.
2. Dissemination of information on the movement, movement or location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations, whenever possible to identify the locality, if such information has not been placed in the open access of the Sun, in terms of military or emergency, – is punished with imprisonment for a period of 5 to 8 years .
3. Actions provided for in Part 1 and 2 articles committed on the preliminary conspiracy of the group of persons or on mercenary motives, or in order to provide such information to the state exercising armed aggression against Ukraine or illegal armed formation, or if they led grave consequences – shall be punished with imprisonment for a period of 8 to 12 years.
