Foreign Minister of Armenia: There are problems between Yerevan and Moscow

In relations between Armenia and Russia, there are some problems, countries conduct a dialogue to solve them. This was announced in an interview with Al Jazeera’s television company by ARARAT Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

“In the context of Armenian -Russian relations, there are certain problems and questions, and yes, we have a dialogue on these issues. Among them there are questions that require complete understanding, but I think that there are such problems in all respects,” – Said the diplomat.

touching the theme of Armenia membership in the CSTO, he indicated that the “organization mechanisms work”. “The CSTO is a military-political union designed to protect the borders of the member states. The lack of a proper answer raised questions in Armenian society, and we do not want to be part of a non-working mechanism,” the minister said.

He also announced the readiness of Yerevan to unlock all regional transport infrastructures with Azerbaijan and Turkey. “We believe that if unlocking takes place, this will not only benefit the countries of the region in terms of economic prosperity, but will also become an important factor in the establishment of peace in the region,” said the Foreign Ministry of Armenia.
