Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jaykhun Bayramov discussed with the Foreign Minister of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleboy the issues of cooperation between two countries in various fields, including transport, energy and humanitarian spheres.
According to the press service of the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry, during a telephone conversation, satisfaction was expressed by the current level of strategic partnership relations between Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
“It was noted that relations between the two countries and our peoples are based on historical foundations and are constantly developed on the basis of respect for the norms and principles of international law, including territorial integrity and sovereignty,” the statement said.
The Ukrainian side emphasized the importance of humanitarian assistance to Azerbaijan to Ukraine for her country and noted that she was grateful for her.
In addition, an exchange of views on other issues of bilateral and regional cooperation was held, representing mutual interest.
