Foreign Minister of Turkey will take part in peaceful summit in Ukraine

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will take part in a peace conference in Ukraine, which will be held in Switzerland on June 15-16. This is reported by the dipstyers in the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

The Turkish Minister will make a speech at the opening of the forum.

It is noted that during the summit, the head of Turkish diplomacy will express the readiness of Ankara to provide maximum support to international efforts on fair and final settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.

Hakan Fidan emphasizes that the destructive impact of the conflict on Ukraine is increasing, and its negative consequences at the regional and global level are aggravated.

The diplomat will draw attention to the increased risk of the spread of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and the use of weapons of mass destruction

The Foreign Minister of Turkey will draw attention to the fact that the summit with the participation of all parties is more likely to bring the results.

The Turkish minister will also recall that the Black Sea Grain initiative was implemented by the efforts of Ankara, as well as peace negotiations in Ukraine in Istanbul in March 2022.

The head of the foreign policy will emphasize that Turkey advocates the speedy end of the war in Ukraine through diplomacy, negotiations and peaceful efforts.

A peaceful conference in Ukraine will be held on June 15-16 in Switzerland. According to her, the forum will take place in the city of Burgenste in Canton Nidvalden.

Switzerland and Ukraine announced the plans for the global peace summit in mid -January. The presidents of the two countries of Viola Ameherd and Vladimir Zelensky at a meeting in Bern reported that they intend to start preparing for this event in the near future.

According to the Swiss authorities, representatives of almost 100 countries are expected at the summit. The forum participants will exchange views regarding the launch of the peace process in order to put an end to the war in Ukraine.
