French parliamentarians still have not reacted to the petition of Azerbaijanis, said the head of the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs Aihan Gadjizade.
Note that on November 15, the French Senate is planned to consider the draft resolution against Azerbaijan. In this regard, on the influential website of Mesopinions.com there is a petition addressed to the Senate, the government and the people of France, which in a short time gathered about 110,000 signatures. However, the French side ignores the indicated petition.
According to Hajizade, this initiative of our compatriots in protest against injustice in relation to Azerbaijan in a short time received wide support.
“According to information, not only Azerbaijanis in France, but also our compatriots living in a number of other foreign countries supported this initiative with their signatures. These steps are an example of the solidarity and cohesion of our compatriots. It is interesting that this petition has received more strong support Compared to others posted on the mentioned portal. Despite this, in comparison with appeals that gained fewer votes and having less importance, France has not yet responded to this petition of Azerbaijanis. We are waiting for a reaction to the appeal of our compatriots and their fair discontent from French parliamentarians who claim that they are always sensitive to public opinion, ”he said.
