Former President of the Maldives, now the People’s Medezlis Speaker Mohamed Nasad was injured on Thursday as a result of an explosion, thundered in Male. About this Maldives police reported on his page on Twitter.
“After the explosion in Male, the speaker of the Mohamed Nasad’s Parliament was injured, he currently finds medical care in the hospital,” the report says.
Police called on citizens to refrain from visiting the area where the explosion occurred.
It is reported that the explosion thundered not far from the house of the ex-president.
