Fortress in Uchihisar in Cappadocia attracts tourists from around world

The HUSCHISAR fortress, one of the symbols of Turkish Cappadocia, is very popular among tourists.

The observation deck of the Uchkhisar with a height of 179 meters is a place where tourists can observe natural beauties from a bird’s eye view. A lot of rooms have been carved in the Roman period.

A tourist from China Liu Jiyan told the Anadol agency that he had long dreamed of visiting Cappadocia, which he knew from the photographs. “There is a very beautiful landscape here. We climbed to the top of the fortress and took a picture when fog fell. In Cappadocia, it was very beautiful,” he said

According to the local tourist Mustafa Erdem, the guests are attracted by the fabulous atmosphere of Cappadocia with its famous “Fei chimneys”, amazing underground cities and rock formations.

“You will never see a panorama anywhere that opens from fairy-tale chimneys,” Mustafa assured.

According to the tourist guide Tugshad Basha, the beauty of Cappadocia attracts tourists from Turkey and foreign countries all year round. He noted that the region is famous for its historical and cultural wealth.

“When Cappadocia is covered with fog, it acquires an even more special beauty. Historical buildings also attract the attention of guests. Cappadocia is fascinating in the summer months and in winter, when it is completely covered with a white cover,” he said.
