France: protest against restrictions

More than 30 thousand people took part in a protest action against the Covenic restrictions of the “convoy of freedom” throughout France, RIA Novosti reports.

France head of Gerald Darmannene said that 54 people were detained on Saturday and 337 fines were written off.

The campaign was prohibited by the authorities of Paris. But on Saturday afternoon, part of the autocolon drove into the Elysees. Police repeatedly used tear gas.

In the evening, the law enforcement agencies cleared most of the Elysees fields. However, later, part of the manifestations returned to Avenue. According to social networks, reinforced police outfits are still located on the Elysees fields, periodically resorting to the use of tear gas.
