G7 will set oil prices for oil products from Russia

The group of seven (G7) will strive to set different maximum prices for Russian oil products, REUTERS reports with reference to the representative of the G7.

According to him, in February, the G7 plans to set two maximum prices for Russian oil products. One – for products traded with a bonus, and the other for those that are traded at a discount.

SENS of the SEMI, EU and Australia previously agreed on the introduction from December 5 of the ceiling of prices for the Russian oil supplied by the sea at $ 60 per barrel for vessels and territories subordinate to them.

In addition, from February 5, 2023, maximum prices for oil products will begin to operate, the parameters of which will be set later.
