Ganja is judged by corrupt officials

In the Ganja Court of Grave Crimes, a judicial investigation into criminal cases of the former head of the executive authority of the Nizami district Ganja Maharat Mustafaeva, the ex-head of the management of architecture and urban planning of the Executive Authority of Ganja Ali Rustamova, as well as their accomplice of Razin Gahramanov, reports Haqqin.az.

Speaking on the process, the public prosecutor said that the accusations nominated against the defendants were confirmed by the testimony of witnesses. The state prosecutor asked to sentence Maharat Musaev and Ali Rustamov by 6 years, and Hakhramanov’s reference to 5 years in prison.

The trial will continue on January 10, 2022.

Note that earlier, the General Directorate for Combating Corruption in the Prosecutor General conducted an operation against officials in the executive authority of Ganja. During the operation, the head of the administration of architecture and urban planning of the city of A.Rustamov and the former head of the executive authorities of the Nizami district Ganja M. Mustafaev were detained.

Criminal cases under articles 308.2 (excess of official powers), 178.3.2 (fraud), 178.2.4, 178.2.2, 178.2.3, 311.3.1 (receipt of bribes) are initiated 311.3.2, 312.2 (cottage of bribes), 314 (allocation of land with a violation of the rules established by law or permission to carry out construction or installation works).
