Gazprom stops gas supply to Denmark and German supplies Shell

Russian Gazprom stops the supply of gas to the Danish Ørsted and registered in Britain Shell Energy Europe Limited under the supply contract to Germany due to the refusal to pay for gas by rubles. This was reported by TASS with reference to the message “Gazprom”.

The Russian company says that on the end of May 31, that is, on the last day of payment under the contract, they did not receive a payment for the gas from Ørsted in April. As reported, payment of gas with rubles, as the Kremlin wants, can violate the EU sanctions against Russia, so a number of countries abandoned such blackmail and extended payment according to the terms of the contract – in dollars or euros.

In addition, Gazprom will stop the gas supply of Shell Energy Europe Limited under a contract for deliveries to Germany – also due to refusal to pay rubles. Earlier, the Russian Federation also introduced blocking sanctions against all the control of the German government Gazprom Germania.
