GDP per capita in Russia approached record

POCTION OF POSITION in Russia, according to the results of last year, exceeded 15 thousand dollars, approaching the record levels of 2013, follows from the analysis of RIA Novosti of the International Monetary Fund.

According to data, the population per capita, according to the results of last year, amounted to 15.44 thousand dollars, increasing over a year by 22.3%, or 2.82 thousand dollars. This has become the maximum level since 2013, when the indicator was a record 15.93 thousand dollars.

Among 100 studied countries in 74 GDP states per capita last year, increased. The indicator increased most in Gayan (89.1%), Armenia (40.6%), Georgia (33.4%), Kuwait (32.7%) and in the Seychelles (31%).

In 25 countries, the indicator decreased, while 19 of these countries are in Europe. The most significant fall in the world in the world occurred in Japan (-15.2%), Sweden (-8.6%) and Korea (-7.9%). Top 10 also includes Hungary, France, Chile, Finland, Luxembourg, Germany and Italy.

The European Bank of Reconstruction and Development reported that at the end of 2022, the Russian economy decreased by 2.1% instead of the expected 3.5%. The Ministry of Economy of the Russian Federation expects that GDP growth in 2023 may exceed 1.2%. According to the forecast of the Central Bank, domestic demand will affect the development of the economy in 2023.
