During the period of the mission, the peacekeeping contingent fulfilled its tasks and duties and made efforts to ensure peace and stability in the territory of the Karabakh economic region, he said.
“In order to stop the ongoing provocations of illegal Armenian armed groups against civilians and establish complete control of the Azerbaijan Republic over the Karabakh economic district in September 2023, anti -terrorist measures of a local nature were carried out. As a result of these measures, the activities of the separatist regime were completely discontinued, and the remnants of the remains of the separatist regime. The Armed Forces of Armenia and the illegal Armenian armed groups were finally withdrawn from the country’s territory, ”said the head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan.
