GEOPOLITICAL MONITOR: Iran fears that Azerbaijan will cut him off from Armenia

Iran fears that Azerbaijan will cut him from the key ally in the Armenian region, says the relevant analytical Canadian publication Geopolitical Monitor.

The publication also notes that Baku managed to establish good relations with the countries surrounding Iran.

“Iran, being under sanctions, relied on Russia, North Korea and Syria for decades. And the president of Azerbaijan managed not only ten times to increase the scale of international relations of the country, but also concluded a military pact with Turkey, an alliance with Israel and provided support from sides of the Persian Gulf, ”the publication says.
