Georgia proposes to tighten conditions of stay for Russians

Georgia can significantly tighten the order of stay of Russian citizens in the country. The opposition party “For Georgia” introduced a resolution to the parliament on a reduction in the period of visa -free stay of Russians.

In addition to reducing the period of visa -free of Russians in the country, parliamentarians insist on upheaval restrictions on air travel between the two countries. The party “For Georgia” believes that the visa -free regime harms the security of the republic, write foreign media.

Now Russian citizens do not need a visa to visit Georgia. However, they can be in the country for one year. To extend the term of stay, it is enough to leave the country’s territory and enter again.
