Several hundred inhabitants of Tbilisi gathered on Sunday to protest action against the introduction of the Sovid passports in the country from December 1, reports Sputnik Georgia.
The protest participants kept posters in their hands: “No Cowid Passports”, “No Sovid Terror”, “No vaccination.” “Green passports deprive us of freedom of choice. We are forced to vaccinate. It’s terror,” say the gathered.
Most protest participants came without masks. In addition, no social distance is observed.
The participants of the action from the area of the republic headed by the procession on Rustaveli Avenue and stopped at the Parliament Building. In parallel with Tbilisi, the protest action of anti-channels took place in Kutaisi (Imereti).
From December 1, the Sovid passport system is introduced in Georgia. This decision was made to stimulate the vaccination process by the Interdepartmental Coordination Council.
