German Foreign Minister Annalena Berbok in an interview with the German newspaper Bild Am Sonntag opposed the ceasefire in Ukraine on the terms of Russia.
According to her, this option would not put an end to “horror for the people of Ukraine, but rather”.
In addition, Berbok noted that she has no hope of a quick ceasefire. To do this, the minister said, the President of Russia Vladimir Putin needs to “only give his soldiers an order to retreat.”
“But, unfortunately, there are any signs, but not that,” Berbok emphasized.
