German investigators confirmed: “Northern Streams” undermined

Investigators in Germany came to the conclusion that damage to the Nord Stream gas pipelines could occur only due to explosives, writes the German portal Tagesschau.

Last weekend, investigators managed to take photos of damage on highways from the German underwater drone. In the pictures on one of the pipes, an eight -meter hole is visible. It is alleged that it could arise only as a result of explosive detonation. Divers could not study damage in detail, since they did not have the necessary equipment for immersion to a depth of 70 m.

Both gas pipelines are destroyed in four places, on each – two holes. Only one thread of Nord Stream-2 survived.

It is known that Sweden, Denmark and Germany refused to continue the joint investigation of leaks in the “northern streams”. Each country decided to do this on its own.

On October 6, Stockholm announced the completion of a preliminary investigation of the emergency on the highways. The security service noted that the results “strengthened their suspicions of serious sabotage.” Having studied the scene, investigators came to the conclusion that explosions occurred on gas pipelines.

The accidents on the two threads of the Nord Stream-1 and one thread of Nord Stream-2 occurred on September 26. The operator of the highways stated that the destruction “is unprecedented in nature.” Leaks were detected in the exclusive economic zone of Denmark near the island of Bournholm.

Russian President Vladimir Putin accused of the incident “Anglo -Saxons”, which, with the help of “sabotage” “began the destruction of European energy infrastructure,” and called the beneficiaries of the US explosions, Poland and Ukraine.
