Germany continues to export about 200 Afghans weekly

Berlin continues to organize air travel and the arrival of those Afghans who collaborated with German organizations or the military before the arrival of the Talibations, deutsche Welle reports.

“About 200 Afghans are delivered to Germany weekly only from Pakistan,” the Funke Mediengruppe publications reports on the basis of the response of the Foreign Ministry of the Federal Republic of Germany to a journalistic request.

According to information, people are exported on a regular basis also from Iran. After returning to power in Afghanistan Taliban, “more than 18 thousand visas were issued for local personnel, especially for people who are at risk, whom the federal government promised to accept, and their family members.” Only at the beginning of 2022, about 5,000 people who did not have passports received assistance, they were able to leave Afghanistan first, and after that for two months to continue their journey to Germany.
