In order to win in the war against Ukraine, the Kremlin needs to mobilize another 900 thousand Russians, transfer the economy to military rails, introduce military censorship and close the borders, said the ex-head of the Donbass separatists Igor Strelkov (Girkin).
“carried out mobilization for a quarter of the necessary, perhaps less, for the eighth. They mobilized 300 thousand men, conditionally, but they do nothing more. … This was enough in May, not in the fall,” said Strelkov.
He proposes to call for another 900 thousand – to 2.1 million people. At the same time, Strelkov believes that the autumn wave of mobilization was carried out badly.
He also called on to subordinate the Russian economy to military needs. “The national economy is not mobilized, the rear is not mobilized, there is no military censorship, the borders are not closed, who wants to, can flee from the Russian Federation as he wants,” Strelkov is indignant.
In addition, Strelkov believes that the war against Ukraine does not have ideology and military goals. According to him, the war against Ukraine “end and the region is not visible”, there are no major victories lately. “What do they want in the Kremlin? They want to win in this war?
